Finca Biniagual Verán 2019
Finca Biniagual Verán 2019 pairs excellently with beef, pork tenderloin or during a tapas of assorted Iberian cured cheeses.
Finca Biniagual Verán 2019 is composed of 40% Mantonegro, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Syrah and 5% Merlot. During the harvest, the grapes were manually harvested in 12 kg. boxes. The grapes underwent a double selection process: in the vineyard and in the winery. The grapes were fermented for 20 days in stainless steel tanks before being transferred into French oak barrels where it was aged for 15 months.
Visually, the Verán 2019 has a ruby red colour of medium intensity. On the nose, we smell intense black cherry and plum fruit. Subtle hints of tobacco, liquorice and hazelnut. The palate is fruity on entry, with round, polished tannins on the palate. Lively acidity, indicative of its long life and freshness. We notice a slight touch of pepper on the finish.
